Saying what day it is

To say 'Today it is鈥' you can use the phrase:

Example:

  • - Today it is Thursday
  • - Today it is Friday

To ask: 'What day is it today?' you can say:

To say 'It is鈥' you can use the phrase:

  • - It's November

Asking what month it is

To ask 'What month is it?' you can say:

Giving the date today

To say 'Today is鈥', you can use the phrase:

+ day + number + month

Example:

- Today it is Tuesday the 5th of March

- Today it is Saturday the 11th of June

Asking the date today

To ask 'What is the date today?' you can say:

( means 'the date' in Spanish)

Did you know?

To say 'the 1st', use . This is the only you use in dates.

Example:

- Today is Wednesday the 1st of October

For all other dates use (eg. two, three, four and five).

Example:

= Today is Monday the 2nd of December
