Higher education and employment in South Africa
Description
A report first broadcast in 2005 about higher education and employment in South Africa. Students from poor backgrounds can struggle to pay for higher education. Some companies provide bursaries to students to fund university education and receive tax benefits, trained employees and some good public relations in exchange. This has greatly increased the numbers of black students at South African universities. Some white students feel they have suffered because of positive discrimination.
