Alvin Kofi - Audience Council England member, North West

Alvin is the Chair of the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Office Disability Support Network (HODS) responsible for overseeing the network at a strategic level and representing members at a national level. He also has an input into policy and practice to ensure that the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Office meets its legal obligations and ensures the HODS business plan and objectives complement the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Office diversity strategy.

He is a keen listener to Radio 4 and is supportive of his local radio station – Radio Merseyside - which is a lifeline to many people in the community. He is passionate about the theatre and is an active supporter of his local spinal unit.

Alvin lives in a semi-rural community between Liverpool and Southport, and was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s birthday honours list 2008 for public service for disabled people.
