成人快手 Trust - Trust announces new senior management appointments
Alex Towers has been appointed Head of Finance, Economics and Strategy and will take up his post at the end of the month. Steve Pollock has been appointed Head of Audiences and Marketing.
Prior to taking a career break in 2008, Alex worked at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) where he most recently held the post of Deputy Director in the Government Olympic Executive. His other roles at the DCMS included Head of Humanitarian Assistance (supporting UK victims of major disasters), policy manager for the 成人快手 Charter Review and Private Secretary to then Culture Secretary Tessa Jowell.
Alex also spent a year working at Ofcom on the first Review of Public Service Broadcasting in 2004.
As Head of Audience Services and Operations and a Marketing, Communications and Audiences Leadership Group member, Steve has had overall responsibility for delivering the 成人快手's audience contact strategy, implementing a face-to-face communications strategy to reach new audiences and managing the cross-成人快手 complaints process.
Prior to that he was a Commissioning Editor on 成人快手 Two's The Learning Zone, moving on to the Factual and Learning Board as Head of Learning Support, responsible for managing all the off-air marketing communications and partnership support for major information campaigns.

Alex replaces Chris Woolard who has joined Ofcom as Director of Planning and Management. Steve replaces Penny Young who is leaving the Trust at the end of May to become Chief Executive of the National Centre for Social Research.
