Believed to be a direct descendent of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba.
Last Emperor of Ethiopia.
Ruled Ethiopia from 1930 - 1974.
Abolished Slavery in Ethiopia.
Rastafarians regard him as God incarnate, "King of kings, lord of lords, conquering lion of the Tribe of Judah".
Visited Jamaica on the 21st April 1966.
Died 27th August 1975.
