Interesting fact

Born in Argentina, Pope Francis is the first Latin American to lead the Roman Catholic Church, as well as the first Jesuit. The election of Jorge Mario Bergoglio took many by surprise in his home city, Buenos Aires, where many had thought his age, 76, ruled him out. Bergoglio is just two years younger than his predecessor Benedict XVI at the time of his election in 2005.
