Responsible for HR strategy and delivery of HR services.

Responsible for broadcasts and future media in Albanian, English for North America and the Caribbean, Macedonian, Portuguese for Brazil, Russian, Serbian, Spanish for Latin America, Turkish and Ukrainian.

Controller, Future Media, Technology & Distribution

Responsible for operations and development across future media, technology and ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ World Service distribution arrangements.

Controller of Strategy & Business Development

Responsible for setting corporate strategy and for overseeing teams of business development professionals working to extend the reach of the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ's international news services on radio, television, online and mobile devices around the world.

Controller, Marketing, Communications & Audiences

Responsible for marketing, publicity, audiences and market research.

Controller of Legal & Rights

Responsible for legal and rights advice.

Responsible for ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ World Service's accommodation strategy and the forthcoming move to W1.

Responsible for governance, public affairs, accountability and internal communications.

Chief Operating Officer and director of finance

Responsible for the ?nancial and budgetary management of ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ World Service.

Jerry TimminsJerry Timmins

Head of Africa & Middle East Region

Responsible for broadcasts and future media in Arabic, English for Africa, French, Hausa, Kinyarwanda/Kirundi, Portuguese for Africa, Somali, and Swahili.

Gwyneth WilliamsGwyneth Williams

Director, English Networks & News

Responsible for news and all programming on the English networks.

- Nigel Chapman relinquished his management responsibility for ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ World Service on 27 February 2009. Richard Sambrook took over as Accounting Officer and Acting Director of ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ World Service until Peter Horrocks' arrival on 14 April 2009. Lesley Granger, Director, Human Resources, retired on 30 June 2008. Richard Burdon joined on 12 May 2008. Richard Thomas joined on 28 April 2008.
