A new poll has suggested corruption around the world is on the increase; meanwhile, a 成人快手 study says that corruption is the world's most talked about problem.
Whether it's high-level allegations of corruption in deciding the destination of the world's biggest football event or everyday bribes to the police, it seems more palms are being greased and more backs are being scratched worldwide.
On Wednesday a judge in the US state of Louisiana was impeached for taking bribes; earlier this year Ivory Coast's chamber of commerce said unofficial payments to the police were costing the country $300m.

Tobi in Nigeria - Corruption nowadays is Omnipresent. In Africa, to get things done fast, one has to pay a bribe. And the most funny thing about this is that the people collecting bribes believes they have done nothing wrong because their leaders in government do more than this

Andrew - It is not only the paying of money that indicates corruption. Oldboy networks and the withholding of information are forms of corruption amongst others.

Lucitex on the blog - I reside in Denmark, which is one of the places with lowest reported bribery, but I know that it is underreported here. Perhaps corruption occurs in the doing of "favors", because I notice this daily. When you live in a small society, where the same families and the same last names keep popping up, it is obvious.

Oluwatoyin on the blog - I came to the Benin Republic seeking medical care and was admitted to the general hospital months ago. The startling thing is, after 2 weeks and I was not scheduled for an operation, I started asking questions. I was advised to 'greet' one woman. I did and was scheduled for the operation the following week.
