Many parts of southern Sudan still remain littered with landmines and unexploded bombs left over from its 22-year long civil war.

Much hard work has already gone into clearing the explosives left behind, but there are two teams working to clear the land who are a little bit different from most of those in the de-mining business - everyone from the leader, to those digging out the landmines, and even the unit's driver - is a woman.

Reporter Peter Martell put on some protective clothing to go out into the minefields an hour drive south of the capital Juba, to meet the team at work.
