60 years after the Beddgelert meteorite, which fell straight through the roof of the Prince Llewellyn Hotel on 21st September 1949, Roy ran a series of "Meteorite Mondays" on the afternoon programme.

On the weekend of 20 September community reporter Huw Jenkins went along to a public day at the Village Hall in Beddgelert to collect stories from people with memories to share. They included John Williams, whose dad was the village bobby, and when the meteorite hit the landlord know just who to call to the scene.
