"It was my birthday, and I would be seven!"

Transcript

"I woke up excited. It was my birthday. I would be seven. My mum said that I could have a tea party in the house. I went to school very excited, and was hyperactive all day. I really couldn't wait to get home to see what presents I had got. Some of my friends came home from school with me for the tea party. When I arrived at my house, there were loads of people already there: uncles, aunties and cousins and also a few of my friends from a different school.

My mum told me to go out to the back garden with my friends and play while she organised the food. When I went outside to the garden, I was totally surprised to find that there was a huge bouncy castle, a slide and also a mini trampoline waiting for me. My mum had organised it and had spent all day getting it ready.

All my friends and me had fun on the bouncy castle, bumping into each other and falling over all day. When I was young, I loved watching the Power Rangers on TV as they were my favourite programme, so my mum had bought me a Power Ranger cake. All my friends gathered around the table and sang happy birthday to me.

Eventually, it was time to go home so I helped my mum deflate the bouncy castle, then went into the house and savoured all the fun moments I'd had on my birthday."
