Ralph Murray was one of the first reporters to travel through the Sudetenland after the Munich Agreement of September 1938. He was a pioneering reporter in many ways, being one of the earliest to give an outside broadcast (in 1936) and to develop a commentary style of reporting that was fed directly into news bulletins.
