Locho was one of the three main Ibex boys that Bruce became friends with during his stay in the Nyangatom village. He was killed in a recent raid by a neighbouring group, the Turkana. He was shot not far from where Bruce and the Ibex went to look after the sheep and goats. During the stay in the village, Bruce and the team grew close to the Ibex so much so that Locho named his first son, James, after the director.
