Szandra and Kieran both live in Falkirk and are welcoming Lily-Rose into their family, joining their first daughter Amelia. The couple lived on the same street as one another when they first bumped into each other at a local nightclub in June 2017.
Szandra is a police custody officer who moved to Scotland seven years ago from Hungary. She is passionate about her heritage and hopes to bring up both children in a bilingual environment.
Kieran is a warehouse operative at a major supermarket. He believes there is a lack of information available for new dads and would like to do more to help others.
We're looking forward to the challenge of trying to raise Lily-Rose as bilingual to keep the Hungarian heritage alive!

One-year-old Amelia is full of energy. She always puts a smile on her parents鈥 faces and they hope Lily-Rose will learn a lot from her big sister.
Kieran admits that he struggled in his relationship with Amelia at first because he was working long hours and coming home after she鈥檇 gone to bed. However, he says that the two of them are very close now.
The couple openly talk about their struggles over the last year raising Amelia during the coronavirus pandemic. They found it difficult living in a one-bedroom property, but have since moved somewhere bigger and the couple say that鈥檚 made a real difference.
The pandemic also meant that Szandra鈥檚 mum has not been able to visit her grandchildren, which has been hugely upsetting for her.
Having heard about the euphoria it may bring, the couple decided to keep the gender of their baby a surprise right up until the birth.
We're excited to join Tiny Happy People Families to learn from other parents, so we can develop along with our daughters.
