Spoons - wooden, metal, plastic - can be full of discovery for your baby!
Encourage your baby to hold the spoon. Younger babies might need a little bit of help with this.
Holding a spoon is great practice for handling crayons and pencils when they're a bit older.
Make "yummy" sounds and pretend to feed your baby, telling them what you're doing.
This helps your baby start to understand words and actions and also gets them ready for when they start eating.
One spoon for you and one spoon for your baby this is great practice for taking turns and really useful for when your baby starts speaking!
