I spoke actively to the baby bump and I know that now that he鈥檚 born he recognises my voice. Speaking to the baby bump is a very good idea and playing sounds as well that can help to soothe is a really good idea too.

And babies while they鈥檙e in the womb, and even when they鈥檙e born find it much easier to learn from when we as adults talk with exaggerated sounds. So, all of the baby talk and just in general making really exaggerated sounds helps them to learn exactly what words should sound like. Also, another quick tip is that once baby鈥檚 born and you鈥檙e chatting to the baby鈥 pause for replies from them when you are talking to them because this teaches them, kinda like, the two-way nature of conversation.
