A Victorian Christmas
These two dance sessions explore what Christmas was like in Victorian times. It has a similar historical context to A traditional harvest. In the first session the children focus on decorating the tree, with a dance making extensive use of the well-known carol O Christmas tree. In the second session the focus switches to the presents underneath the tree and Victorian toys in particular.
