Hi everyone, my name is Mwaksy, and I鈥檓 here to tell you all about how to enter the incredible Gladiators micro:bit competition.
Students, ready? Micro:bits, ready?
This competition is for children aged 7-11 at UK primary schools to design an amazing new gadget involving the 成人快手 micro:bit.
We want students to design and draw a new fitness device that could help Gladiators like Phantom and Dynamite improve their performance.
Entries to the competition are submitted via the 成人快手 Teach website. Before submitting your entry, please make sure you鈥檝e read through the terms and conditions closely!
You鈥檒l be taken to a form that looks like this, where you鈥檒l be able to include information about your design and your school. It鈥檚 really important that a teacher completes this form, not students!
Fill in the form with your name, a contact email address, your school鈥檚 name and the school postcode.
Next, you can fill in the name of your gadget and upload a picture of the design. This can be hand-drawn or digitally designed, and uploaded as a JPEG, PNG or PDF.
We can only accept one picture per entry, but you can show different views of your design. For example: a side on view, a top down view. But they have to be for the same device and in one file.
Next, you鈥檝e got space to write a bit about your design. What does it do? What鈥檚 it made of? How does it work? Why have you made those choices?
It doesn鈥檛 need to be long, between 100 and 300 words.
Then there鈥檚 a few tick boxes to go through.
Confirm the age of your students.
Confirm that the 成人快手 can use the images and text that you send.
Read the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice if you haven鈥檛 done that already, then confirm those as well.
Lastly, you can sign up to the 成人快手 Teach newsletter for information about future initiatives.
Click submit and you鈥檙e all done!
Entries for the competition close at midday on the 6th of December 2024. One school can submit a total of 3 different entries, but no more. And all children taking part must be aged 7-11 on the day that entries close.
Need some inspiration? Then check out the 成人快手 micro:bit website for tips, guides and lessons on how to use this ingenious device.
Three! Two! One! Design!
