Presenters Ben Shires and author Nathan Bryon discuss their love of books and reading, with a live studio audience. They're joined by two special guests, the illustrator Dapo Adeola and award-winning author Frank Cottrell-Boyce.

Dapo completes an illustration live during the show, whilst Frank puts our presenters to the test in a literary challenge.

This Live Lesson covers a range of topics within reading comprehension, with a particular focus on different types of books and children recommending books to their peers. We explore illustration, types of genre and the structural components of a story.Above all, we hope the show encourages your pupils’ love of books and positive attitude towards reading.
