When is the D-Day anniversary?

On 6 June 1944 the Allies launched the biggest air and seaborne invasion in history, codenamed Operation Neptune (part of the larger Operation Overlord) and commonly referred to as D-Day.

To mark this significant historical event, which this year marked it's 80th anniversary, we've put together a collection of classroom resources about D-Day and World War Two.
