After suffering from a lack of confidence with the Paso, Cherie reflects on the moment when her mind went blank and she forgot the first steps of their routine on Saturday, "My nerves got the better of me... like a parachute opening, sometimes it doesn't!"
She seems upbeat about tackling the Salsa though. Her partner James is less upbeat about the challenges of the dance. He says that they have a lot of work to do and thinks that Cherie will find the Salsa difficult, "She's in for a shock. There will be certain dances she struggles with… the faster dances, she will find tougher. If she's not able to dance the Salsa confidently, she will have to learn to act confident..."
Cherie puts in all the effort she usually attacks her dances with though, and seems to cope quite well, even though she's a little intimidated by the speed of the dance.
Looking a little awkward at times, she perseveres and by the end of the session, the couple begin to choreograph their routine. Cherie's quite confident though - she's still enjoying dancing, and has even come up with a recipe for success, "Monday's for getting the measure of choreography, then Tuesday and Wednesday, drilling it in. Thursday and Friday, it's frilling it, like making a cake - icing and decorating comes on Thursday and Friday!"
