Andrew arrives for Samba training in a defiant mood. He's pleased he's still in the competition, but is keen to avoid the dance-off again this weekend. He describes himself as "a cockroach that won't go away" and wants to work hard and do his best.
The GMTV host is glad that bum-gate is behind him and is determined to improve again on last week's positive feedback. Andrew remarks that he was particularly spurred on by Len's comment about him being 40-love down and having to fight back, noting that the analogy helped him stay focused in the dance-off.
As her partner won't have the safety of the 'hold' in the Samba, Ola has gone for a routine of shimmies, shakes and show-stopping moves in order to help get the audience get behind them.
They are even starting the routine with a knee skid from Andrew - a move that's already giving his dodgy knee some jip! This week looks like it might be a tough one for Andrew, both physically and mentally. He's facing a tricky and challenging routine, but he's full of fight, "When you face defeat you actually strengthen. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger! By Saturday night I hope to have a Samba..."
