Gwen and I had a most enjoyable morning last Monday. We were invited to the Happy Monday group at the Observatory in Hanley SOT. We were there to collect some lovely knitting that the ladies had done for us and also some items Barbara Hewitt had brought with her from some ladies at Bucknall Pentecostal Church.

Those special tiny babies

A poem written for the *Ray of Hope* by Barbara Hewitt Stoke-on-Trent UK

I have today began to knit
Something small to start
Like really tiny bonnets
For babies close to my heart.

The tiny babies that fight for life
No bigger than a kitten
Needing so much special care
The kind that can鈥檛 be written.

Dedicated nurses that take care
Support the parents too
Most of these tiny babies
Arrive before they鈥檙e due

I am sure that God gives the skills
To doctors that attend
These very special babies
To be with them 鈥榯ill the end

Surrounded by their family
With so much love to give
A lot of these tiny babies
Win the fight to live

So I will keep on knitting
With the softest baby wool
For these very special babies
Because they鈥檙e wonderful
