A visit to the observatory HanleyThe day Christine Cooper and her friend Gwen visited the Observatory in Hanley to collect some knitting produced by the ladies there. We were there to collect some lovely knitting that the ladies had done for us and also some items Barbara Hewitt had brought with her from some ladies at Bucknall Pentecostal Church. Blankets, cardigans, bonnets, bootees, and mitts etcMany thanks to Anthea Goodfellow, Nora Tooth, and Mandy Surrage from the Happy Monday group and to Margaret Salt, Joyce Weaver, Dorothy Hackney from Bucknall Pentecostal Church and of course to Barbara herself.
