I decided to tell this story as I think that people will enjoy listening to it and have a laugh.

One Whitsuntide a few years ago I went to Endon Well Dressing with my pals. We went on everything! The waltzer, the swing boats, the carousel. I can't remember what we had for lunch, but I think it might have been candy floss!

Then, after lunch, we went on the Chairaplanes ride. The chairs are dangling from chains above and as you sit in them they spin round and round, flying out higher and higher every time. Then they speed up and go quite fast.
Well,I started feeling a bit sick as the ride went round, but there's no way you can get off once you're on it.

Every time I thought I was going to be okay, we started going a bit faster and a bit faster and I thought, oh dear, I'm going to be sick. This isn't going to be pretty.

I held it in as long as I could--my face must have been a picture--but in the end I couldn't control it any longer and I was sick - spectacularly sick from a great height!

My candy floss lunch wasn't the only thing I'd lost, though. No. My false teeth had flown out too.

I was yelling at people on the ground, 'don't tread on my teeth!'

When the ride stopped, we all got off but we couldn't find my teeth.

It wasn't until 4 hours later that I found them embedded in the mud under the ride. They looked like they were smiling at me.

I'd had enough. So without further ado, I took them to the well, rinsed them under the water, and popped them back in my mouth.
