To make a Patchwork Baby Quilt 24鈥 square, you will need: 鈥 36 x 4.5鈥 squares of cotton/poly cotton fabric 鈥 Thread for stitching 鈥 A piece of brushed cotton/wincyette fabric 25鈥 square.
Arrange squares into 6 rows of 6 squares, joining together with 0.25鈥 seams.听 Press all seams in same direction.听 Place wincyette on right side of patchwork and sew all round, leaving a gap for turning.听 Turn right side out and press, then sew up gap by hand to complete.
You can vary the design in any way and you can use any size of square to make up 24鈥 square eg. 64 x 3.25鈥.听 You can also use up odd squares by having each square different.听 The possibilities are up to you.
