Cornish Pirates back-rower Will Gibson has signed a new deal with the club through the 2024-25 season.

The 24-year-old joined the club in 2021 and has played in almost every game this season, making 18 appearances in the Championship.

Gibson, who can play across the back row, has also captained the side and played in four Premiership Rugby Cup games at the start of the campaign.

He joins forward Hugh Bokenham in agreeing new terms for next season, despite uncertainty over the club's future.
