Scotland forward Andy Christie has signed a new "long-term contract" at Premiership champions Saracens.

The 24-year-old has made 74 appearances for the club since making his debut in 2018 and has gone on to win five caps for Scotland since his debut in 2021.

He missed the World Cup after suffering a broken arm but has scored two tries in four Premiership games this season.

"Representing this club is one of the biggest privileges of my life," Christie told the club website.

"Saracens is my home, I love the club, I love the group and I'm excited to be a part of it going forward."

Having come up through Saracens' academy, the English-born back-row qualifies for Scotland through his Scottish grandparents.

"He is a very popular member of our group who we believe has an incredibly bright future," said Saracens' director of rugby Mark McCall.

"He has become a very influential player for us and at just 24 we are very excited to see him progress over the coming years."
