Robinson all for proposed Giants stadium move

Huddersfield Giants head coach Luke Robinson has backed the idea of moving to a new stadium amid speculation the club are leaving the John Smith's Stadium.
Giants owner Ken Davy that the club are in the initial stages of planning on moving to a new stadium but remained tight-lipped on the details.
"That鈥檚 been on the cards for a while now," former scrum-half Robinson told 成人快手 Radio Leeds.
"We went to the Shay Stadium in 2011 when I was still playing, and the atmosphere [was] electric. We were averaging 7,500 at the time and the fans were great."
Huddersfield's average home attendance for the 2024 Super League season stands at just over 4,600 in a stadium that holds 24,121.
The atmosphere at the John Smith's Stadium has been put into question recently following the Giants' dismal form which continued on Saturday when they were humbled 66-0 by Warrington Wolves.
And Robinson has suggested that a move could help ignite a turnaround in fortunes for the West Yorkshire club.
"When you were inside a smaller stadium, it felt like they [the fans] were on top of you. It felt amazing and it went on for quite a while.
"Our fans are really loyal, they鈥檒l sing their hearts out but unfortunately if you鈥檙e in a 25,000 seater stadium, you can kind of get a little bit drowned out by the opposition or just the stadium size itself.
"I think it be great for us if we can actually have a home we can call our own鈥.
Giants moved to the John Smith's Stadium in 1994 along with Huddersfield Town.
