Former Bradford Bulls winger David Foggin-Johnston has been given a two-year ban from rugby league after testing positive for cocaine.

The 28-year-old was tested on 27 August 2023 by UK Anti-Doping (Ukad) with a sample showing a positive reading for cocaine, which is a non-specified substance that is prohibited.

The test came after it was announced that but he was suspended in October having admitted to an anti-doping rule violation.

After consulting a scientific expert, Ukad then referred the case to an independent panel, with a tribunal meeting in July and subsequently deciding to issue the ban.

The tribunal judged that it was satisfied that the use of cocaine was "recreational and unrelated to sport performance".

The time served under suspension - since 11 October 2023 - will be counted towards Foggin-Johnston's ban, meaning it will end on 10 October 2025.
