Rhys Kennedy: London Broncos sign Hull Kingston Rovers prop
London Broncos have signed Hull Kingston Rovers prop Rhys Kennedy.
The 29-year-old Australian, who has also had spells at South Sydney Rabbitohs and Brisbane Broncos, helped the Robins to a fourth-placed finish in Super League this year.
He was also part of the Hull KR side that were narrowly beaten by Leigh Leopards in the Challenge Cup final.
"Rhys is a fantastic addition to our squad," said Broncos director of rugby and performance Mike Eccles.
"His age, profile and experiences in the NRL and Super League are everything I'm looking for to compliment what I'm sure everyone agrees is a very exciting, young, dynamic London pack," he told the club website.
Meanwhile the club have also re-signed former players Gideon Boafo and James Meadows.
Winger Boafo returns to the club after a two-year spell with Championship side Newcastle Thunder where he scored 22 tries in 44 games.
Half-back Meadows has spent the past two years at second-tier side Batley Bulldogs.
He was their top points scorer this year with 17 tries and 61 goals as he contributed 190 points in 31 appearances in all competitions.
