  10. 'We weren't Wigan today'published at 16:29 British Summer Time 8 May 2021

    FT: Hull FC 20-10 Wigan

Wigan Warriors head coach Adrian Lam told ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Sport:

"We weren't Wigan today. We couldn't build any pressure and it was a stop-start game. Individual errors put us under pressure and we couldn't hold out.

"It's uncharacteristic. We've competed really high in the 80s and 90s in the last four weeks and I don't know, it's frustrating, it's not who we are.

"We need to take a good look at ourselves."

  11. 'We're proud of the group'published at 16:27 British Summer Time 8 May 2021

    FT: Hull FC 20-10 Wigan

Hull FC boss Brett Hodgson told ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Sport:

"We had little bits of adversity this week with what happened last week and losing Jake Connor and Brad Fash made us very thin.

"Chris [Satae] was immense in midfield and I'm really proud. We know against Wigan you don't win the game unless you play for 80 minutes and our defensive intent was brilliant.

"We're so proud of the group and happy to get through to the next round."

  12. 'I'm glad for the boys'published at 16:26 British Summer Time 8 May 2021

    FT: Hull FC 20-10 Wigan

Hull FC forward Chris Satae told ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Sport:

"I'm happy and glad for the boys who dug in for each other against a good Wigan side. You know what they will bring and they play for the full 80 minutes.

"We knew the weather meant we had to keep the ball tight and not do anything fancy.

"I'm fortunate and happy [to score two tries]. It would have been nothing if we didn't win."

Hull put in a fine kick from the restart and Wigan are forced to make at least 100 metres to get anywhere near the line.

Wigan's Willie Isa spills the ball just as they had three tackles left as they were about to enter Hull's 20 and Adam Swift wins it back and runs in under the posts.

    A tough ending for Wigan.

  20. try

TRY: Hull FC 16-4 Wiganpublished at 66 mins

    Tevita Satae, goal Marc Sneyd

Hull FC get the ball down and they're surely out of sight if this is given!

It's given as replays correctly show he grounded the ball. Great try. Marc Sneyd adds the two.
