The saving grace for the home side is that it is wing-back Oscar Mingueza who is put through on goal.

He runs through from the halfway line but only seems to realise where he is once he gets to the edge of the box, panics and his tame shot is straight at Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

Barcelona have changed shape, moving to a back three, but it has done little to stop Celta's threat on the counter-attack.

The visitors get in again as Jonathan Bamba slides the ball through to Iago Aspas.

Aspas is inside the box but wants to get the ball onto his left foot and that allows the defender to get back and make the block.

Barcelona 0-1 Celta Vigo

Is this a penalty for Celta Vigo? Jonathan Bamba goes down in the box after collecting a loose pass from Ronald Araujo.

Gavi doesn't get the ball with his attempted slide tackle but he doesn't get much - if any - of Bamba either.

The Celta player was looking for it. VAR have a look but stay with the on-field decision. No penalty.

Had he done so, not only would it have been a brilliant touch, it would have put him one-on-one with the goalkeeper.

It was a very well-taken goal from Jorgen Strand Larsen and Celta had the chances to add to that lead - Luca de la Torre hitting the best of them over the bar.

Barcelona have struggled to create too much, Joao Felix skied their best opportunity. What can Xavi do at half-time to turn this one around?
