It's another thrilling battle for top spot in the National League this season with Wrexham once again challenging for promotion to the English Football League.

Wrexham are a point behind leaders Notts County as it stands, but boss Phil Parkinson says today's FA Cup tie has come at an opportune time.

"I just think it's a nice break for the league," Parkinson said.

"Obviously the aim was to come into this game with wins at home to take us into the match in good spirits.

"The game will be in front of a big crowd and its live on TV. So it's more of a welcome distraction than a hindrance."

The nights have drawn in and the days are getting shorter. Halloween's been and gone and it's November.

This can mean only one thing. The FA Cup first round continues.

After the giant killing glory of seventh-tier Alvechurch and National League South sides Chippenham Town and Farnborough yesterday, what about today?

We've got three games to go and maybe some more impressive action.

    Kick-off is coming soon.
