It's a wonderful bit of play by Stockton. It's top goal-scoring instincts, being in the right place and anticipating a mistake. He could have gone down under the challenge but like all good strikers he wants to score goals.

I don't want to be that person who keeps harping on about the weather... but it is ROTTEN in Buxton this lunchtime.

The wind is now howling.

Morecambe put a free-kick into the box but referee Lee Swabey spots a push and a free-kick is given against them.

Buxton are racking up the corners here and putting pressure on their much higher-ranked opponents.

Morecambe keeper Kyle Letheren certainly doesn't look too comfortable.

Morecambe - 20th in League One - are pinging the ball about when they can but they haven't been allowed to get too confident in possession.

Their top scorer Cole Stockton already has 15 goals this season but is returning from injury this afternoon.

De Girolamo is so unfortunate, they win the ball back high so well. It's a wonderful effort and that's just instinctive. He's very unlucky to see it come back off the post.

I can't stress how much I'm enjoying this.

The camera operators are having to wipe their lenses every few seconds and the crowd are really playing their part.

Morecambe won't be completely unused to surroundings like this but it's making for a cracking tie.

So close for minnows Buxton!

Morecambe give the ball away in their own half and Italy youth striker Diego de Girolamo strikes low against the outside of the post from outside the box.

"Morecambe get battered, everywhere they go" is the chant from the Buxton fans.

We'll see if that theory comes true over the next 80 minutes or so.

Former Nottingham Forest and Derby forward Jamie Ward tries a half-volley from the edge of the box for Buxton but it's off-target.

Certainly worth a go.

Shane McLoughlin swirls in a cross for Morecambe but Buxton keeper Theo Richardson sticks to his task and takes the ball pretty confidently.

This won't be the prettiest game but it'll be entertaining.

The weather will play a part.

The conditions really are rotten.

League One side Morecambe are having most of the early territory, as they try to find their rhythm.

More than 3,500 are watching at the Silverlands Stadium - Buxton's biggest crowd since 1962.

Craig: C'mon Morecambe finally get a game on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ to show the talent that got them promoted from League Two on possibly the lowest budget too. A swirling wind on a 4G pitch, gonna be a cracking game, just keep it on the ground.

Not everyone is supporting underdogs Buxton...

Dodgy weather, interesting pitch, seventh tier at home to third tier.

This is what the FA Cup is all about.

The Buxton changing room resembles a nightclub as they have their final pep talk.

It's dark with some groovy mood lighting - what a way to get up for this tie.

Both sets of players come out to roars. It's a windy lunchtime in Derbyshire and they'll be playing on an artificial pitch.

Although I'll remain completely neutral for the entirety of our coverage... I'm sure you neutrals out there will be hoping for a good old-fashioned FA Cup giantkilling.

It's fair to stay there's been plenty of support for Buxton on social media.
