Afghanistan bowler Mohammad Nabi: "The boys are in good morale at the moment. Batting first isn't a proper plan to always do that but we discuss all options in the meetings. Mentally the boys are ready for both.

"We encourage our openers to play their game. We don't want to change in a tournament. Keep doing what you've done in the last 10 years and enjoy your cricket.

"We have good quality seamers and they have good variations. Hamid Hassan came in today and bowled brilliantly."

Namibia captain Gerhard Erasmus: 鈥淲e knew it would be a level up from our previous games with them being a Test-playing nation and having bowlers in the top 10 in the world. They were just good for us today.

鈥淲e had to change our plans, but we weren鈥檛 able to stay there for long enough. We let them off a hook a bit too much at important times. I thought 160 would perhaps too much on this wicket and on this ground with the dimensions.鈥

On that note actually, three games have now been won by the team batting first.

Afghanistan have done it twice against Scotland and Namibia, while West Indies also did it against Bangladesh.

Naveen-ul-Haq is named player of the match but gives it to the retiring Asghar Afghan: "He is the best captain Afghanistan has ever produced. I have learned a lot of things under his captaincy. We have huge respect for him, everyone in Afghanistan knows his name and we will miss him a lot."

Naveen-Ul-Haq has been named as Man of the Match but he has given the award to Asghar Afghan.

The bowler made his debut under the former skipper and says he has helped him a lot in his career.

Afghan got a guard of honour earlier. He was then seen in tears in the dugout.

The end of a magical, legendary international career for Asghar Afghan.

Handshakes all around and lots of hugging - and now Gulbadin is carrying him off the pitch on his shoulders.

I love this. A wonderful moment.

    Breaking

What a perfect way for former captain Asghar Afghan to sign out. He is retiring after this game if you didn't know.

Afghanistan move to four points and their net run-rate is massive because of that huge win against Scotland. They are in a decent position to make the semi-finals, but will likely need to beat one of India or New Zealand.

You want to finish this as soon as possible if you are Afghanistan, you don't want to give away another 15-20 runs as it could be all about net run rate at the end of the group stage.
