Spain and Netherlands meet in the tournament for the second time having been paired together in Group B, along with Germany and Republic of Ireland.
Defending champions Spain started their campaign in unconvincing fashion, with a 0-0 draw in their opening game against Republic of Ireland being followed by a late 1-0 loss to the Netherlands. La Roja managed to squeeze through to the semi-finals as group runners-up though, beating Germany 2-0 in their final group game to progress. England were their opponents in the semi-final and following an impressive 3-1 win over the Lionesses, Spain now have a chance to retain their Women's Under 19 European Championship crown.
Netherlands secured their place in the final by first winning Group B. Netherlands opened their campaign with a 1-1 draw with Germany, having scored a 90th minute equaliser. Their second group game was also a tight affair with another late goal helping them to secure a 1-0 win over Spain. Netherlands' final group game was more straight forward - a 2-0 victory over Republic of Ireland to top Group B and progress to the semi-finals. In the semi-finals, Netherlands took on France and secured a comfortable 2-0 win with two first half goals from Karlijn Woons and Danique Tolhoek booking their place in the final.
