Scottish teenager Carly Booth recorded an eagle on the fourth extra hole to win the Deutsche Bank Ladies Swiss Open in a three-way play-off.

Booth overcame the challenge of German duo Anja Monke and Caroline Masson to win her second title in six weeks.

The Scot, who turns 20 on Thursday, said: "I'm overwhelmed; speechless. I'm lost for words; so happy."

Booth carded a 68 in her final round to finish level with Monke (66) and Masson (68) on 12 under.

All three players then birdied the par-five 18th hole three times each in the play-off at the Golf Gerre Losone in Ticino.

But Booth finally clinched the victory and a 拢63,330 first prize with a 10-foot eagle putt.

"It was tough," said the 19-year-old. "We birdied three out of three and I was thinking, someone's going to have to eagle to win this.

"I hit a perfect drive every time and then a five-iron on to the green to about 10 foot and just holed it, so it was perfect."

Last month, Booth won the first tournament of her career when she became the youngest-ever winner of the Scottish Open.

"I was just trying to hit a positive putt," she added. "I wasn't trying to think about it and I think, with having the experience of winning previously in the Scottish, I had grasped the feeling of trying to stay calm and positive."
