Cheltenham trio reject new contract offers
Cheltenham Town have announced that Liam Sercombe, Luke Southwood and Sean Long will leave the club this summer.
The Robins offered the trio new contracts but all three rejected the deals proposed by the club, who were relegated from League One at the end of the season.
Midfielder Sercombe, 34, was the Robins' top goalscorer in 2023-24, netting 11 times as well as providing two assists in 45 league appearances.
Goalkeeper Southwood arrived on loan from Reading in the summer of 2022, keeping 16 clean sheets in his opening campaign.
Last season, after turning his move into a permanent one, the 26-year-old kept 10 shut-outs in 48 appearances across all competitions.
Defender Long, 29, is one of Cheltenham's longest-serving players and exits after six years with the Robins.
Both Sercombe and Long were part of the Cheltenham team that won the League Two title in the 2020-21 season.
