Two late goals ensured Jersey Bulls’ unbeaten start to the season continued with a 2-0 win at Alton.

Bulls goalkeeper Euan van der Vliet kept the islanders in the match with good saves as he got a fourth successive clean sheet.

Seany McColgan finally broke the deadlock with an 80th minute header before Miguel Carvalho converted from Tony Ritzema’s pass in the sixth minute of injury time.

The victory means Bulls are now 10 games unbeaten under new boss Elliot Powell in Combined Counties Premier South.

They move up to fourth in the table with three games in hand on Redhill and AFC Whyteleafe in first and second, respectively, and four on Knaphill a place above them.
