Stevenage have agreed to sign Northampton striker Louis Appere when his contract at Sixfields runs out next month.

The 6ft 1in Scot has scored 18 goals in 106 games for the Cobblers, including nine when they were promoted to League One in 2022-23.

The 25-year-old previously played for Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership.

Appere also holds a French passport, and was called up to the Scotland Under-21s squad in 2020, only for the games against Croatia and Greece to be postponed because of the Covid pandemic.

Appere, who can also play as a winger, has been at Northampton for two and a half years.
