Oxford United are expected to be without star midfielder Cameron Brannagan for six weeks.

Brannagan, 28, suffered a knee injury during the recent 1-0 victory over Stoke City.

"Cam will be out for the next six weeks," boss Des Buckingham told 成人快手 Radio Oxford.

"He鈥檚 done his knee but not as severe as first thought, which is good news because if it was really bad it could have seen him out for months."

Buckingham added: "He will be a miss to us, but right now I feel we have the players to cope and we look forward to welcoming him back."

Oxford were dealt another blow in midfield during Saturday's defeat at Bristol City when Josh McEachran suffered a groin injury just before half-time.

Buckingham said McEachran would be assessed in the coming days.

Oxford next face the task of taking on Burnley, who last season were relegated from the Premier League.

The U's have impressed at home this season. They are unbeaten in four games and have scored eight times at the Kassam Stadium.
