Doncaster Rovers have been charged with misconduct by the Football Association following a pitch invasion during their run to the League Two play-offs last season.

Fans ran on to the pitch to celebrate after two goals in the final five minutes saw them come from behind to beat top-seven rivals Barrow 4-2 on Saturday, 20 April and seal the club's ninth win in a row.

It is alleged Rovers failed to ensure their supporters conducted themselves in an "orderly fashion/don't behave in an improper, threatening or provocative way and/or commit any form of pitch incursion".

Doncaster went on to reach the play-offs in 2023-24 where they were beaten by Crewe Alexandra in the semi-finals.

The club has until Monday, 19 August to respond to the charge.
