Derby's Adams remains upbeat despite run of draws

Derby County midfielder Ebou Adams is positive that his side can climb the Championship table after a run of three successive draws in the league.
Adams, 28, made his loan move from Cardiff City permanent in the summer and has been a regular in the centre of Derby's midfield at the start of the 2024-25 campaign, starting in the past 10 Championship matches.
Paul Warne's side were yet to draw a match this season until a run of three consecutive games in which they shared the spoils with Millwall, Oxford United and Hull City on Saturday.
"I think it shows that we're strong defensively and we're keeping the scores down," Adams told 成人快手 Radio Derby.
"I think going forward, we are creating chances. In the last three games, we have finished quite strong and if we can just get that one chance, and instead of a one [point] add two more [points] to that, it puts us right up the table."
The Gambia international's work-rate has been a key factor in the Rams' good start to the season following their promotion from League One last term, allowing creative midfield players Kenzo Goudmijn and Marcus Harness more licence to get forward.
Adams got his first goal of the season against Watford in August but was guilty of missing an open goal against his former club Cardiff City in the 97th minute of a 1-0 home win three weeks later - a miss later described as "hilarious" by head coach Warne.
"It's a little bit frustrating but look at the positives - we are doing well," Adams said.
