Williams 'annoyed' by Swansea's approach

Luke Williams said he was "annoyed" with Swansea City's approach after seeing his side come from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Portsmouth.
Williams' team were undone by Portsmouth's high press as Matt Ritchie and Josh Murphy gave the Championship's bottom club a 2-0 lead at the Swansea.com Stadium.
Connor Ogilvie's own goal reduced the deficit just before the break, with Liam Cullen levelling early in the second half before dominant Swansea missed a raft of chances to seal a comeback win.
Despite the fact that Swansea avoided defeat after going behind for the first time this season, Williams was unhappy with the failure to take all three points.
"I am annoyed because we didn鈥檛 start the game correctly," the Swansea head coach said.
"If we'd played well for 90 minutes, but we hit the woodwork and the keeper made a save and there had been a block, I'd be frustrated. But I am annoyed more than frustrated.
"But I am annoyed that we gave ourselves a mountain to climb because we didn鈥檛 approach the game correctly."
Williams said his players deserved "a lot of praise" for coming back into the contest having been staring at defeat after ex-Cardiff winger Murphy's goal.
The draw at least maintained some momentum for Swansea, whose only defeats since October have come thanks to last-gasp winners from promotion contenders Burnley and Leeds United.
Yet Williams' overwhelming emotion was unhappiness over Swansea's lack of intensity in the first period.
"There was a break in play and there were some choice words," he added.
"Sometimes you need to be, let's say urgent, with your voice. I have a very loud voice so sometimes it's a tool for me to show exactly the intensity that they need.
"They are not made of sugar. Probably half the time they ignore me, but they know I am very upset."
