Briton Ferry Llansawel have been promoted to the JD Cymru Premier as Cymru South champions after beating Ammanford 4-0.

Luke Bowen scored four, including two penalties, as Ferry secured the title in front of over 1,200 fans.

Briton Ferry, League of Wales founder members in 1992, merged with Llansawel in 2009 to form the current club.

In the battle to stay in the Cymru Premier, Pontypridd drew 0-0 against Aberystwyth.

Ponty move off the bottom and above Colwyn Bay on goal difference and are two points behind 10th placed Aber.

However Pontypridd have been refused an FAW Tier 1 licence for next season and face the prospect of relegation from the Cymru Premier irrespective of league position at the end of the season.

Champions The New Saints maintained their unbeaten league campaign with a 4-1 win over Bala Town at Park Hall.
