Raith Rovers 0-0 Partick Thistle: Kirkcaldy side's title challenge falters again
- Published
Raith Rovers' challenge at the top of the Scottish Championship continued to fade as they were held to a goalless draw by Partick Thistle to leave Dundee United one win away from the title.
United's win over Greenock Morton on Friday put the pressure on the Kirkcaldy side, but they were unable to keep pace with the league leaders in front of their own fans.
Thistle midfielder Blair Alston's free-kick late on was the closest either team came to scoring, but his effort bounced off the crossbar.
Ian Murray's side have now won just one of their last five league games and are six points behind Dundee United with three games of the season remaining.
