Wealdstone 4-2 Dorking Wanderers

Relegation threatened Dorking were left on the brink of relegation as they let a two-goal lead slip to lose at fellow National League strugglers Wealdstone.

Dorking could have moved level on points with their hosts in the battle to avoid the drop but were eventually beaten 4-2 at Grosvenor Vale.

It leaves the Surrey side in 23rd, six points adrift of safety with two games left - and a goal difference 15 worse off than the side in 20th, York City.

After sacking their manager David Noble on Sunday with five games left. having picked up just one point from six games, Wealdstone then lost at home to Southend on Tuesday night.

But they are now three points clear of safety with three games left before the season ends on 20 April - and can only be caught by Boreham Wood, and Kidderminster Harriers, who will now probably need to win both their last two games to stand any chance of staying up.

Luke Moore opened the scoring for Dorking early in the second half before Charlie Carter extended the lead on 54 minutes.

But Mason Barrett pulled one back two minutes later before Max Kretzschmar levelled with the first of three goals in minutes.

Kretzschmar added another before a Tarryn Allarakhia goal completed trhe comeback.
