Dom Thomas rifles in the opener for Queen's Park

Goals from Dominic Thomas and Tom Robson gave Queen's Park a winning start in the Scottish Championship against Inverness Caley Thistle.

Nathan Shaw and Charlie Gilmour threatened for the hosts before Queen's made the breakthrough as Thomas fired beyond Mark Ridgers.

Robson caught the home defence napping to double the lead after the restart, sliding an effort underneath Ridgers.

Jake Davidson's header halved the deficit late on but Queen's held firm.
