Inverness Caledonian Thistle stretched their unbeaten run to five league games with a 2-2 Scottish Championship draw with Greenock Morton.

Calvin Miller picked up a loose pass to open the scoring early on for the visitors, but the hosts drew level when Billy Mckay struck from close range after Scott Allardice was denied.

Robbie Muirhead put the visitors ahead for a second time from eight yards, but with five minutes left Ethan Cairns drew the hosts level again, with his first touch and goal for the club.

Inverness CT head coach Billy Dodds: "It was a hard watch at times but I don't want to be too negative because my players found a way to find something from the game.

"We weren't good enough first half. The goal we gave them in the second half was a gift again and they've got to stop. But we are still hanging in there."

Greenock Morton manager Dougie Imrie: "It was tough with the wind but I thought we played really well. The first 15-20 minutes of the second-half we weren't at the races, we were a bit nervous.

"But we dug deep and got the second goal. Unfortunately we lose a poor goal at the back post. Three points would have been great but we didn't manage to see the game out."
