Dunfermline Athletic 0-0 Inverness CT: Draw eases pressure on Peter Grant
Dunfermline Athletic held Scottish Championship leaders Inverness Caledonian Thistle to a goalless draw to ease the pressure on manager Peter Grant.
Amid talk of a fan protest at the dismal start to the season, the home side put in an improved display.
Tom Walsh and Bill McKay had second-half chances for Inverness who remain unbeaten.
Billy Dodds' side are one point clear of Kilmarnock at the summit.
Dunfermline, meanwhile, are two points adrift at the foot of the table and remain without a league win this season.
Dunfermline Athletic manager Peter Grant: "We've had a tough few weeks with Covid and the results and it's not easy to keep going and keep fighting and they showed the spirit that I know they have."
Inverness CT manager Billy Dodds: "It was going to be a battle, I knew they would work hard, I thought we were decent first half and they had the best chance second half. There weren't a lot of great chances in the game, I think a draw was a fair result but we had to battle for it."
